Backgammon, with blot hits, bearing off, and the doubling cube
Backgammon on Card & Board puts you in a race across 24 points, where every roll can change the board fast. You’re balancing checker stacks, exposed blots, and the final bear-off, with no download and no signup.
Race, hit, and block the board
Your main job is to move all 15 checkers around the board and into your home board before the other side does. If you land on a lone opposing checker, you send it to the bar, while points held by two or more pieces stay locked.
That means each turn asks whether you should split, stack, or keep a piece safe. The rhythm is part luck, part timing, and the pip count becomes more important once your last checkers head home.
The doubling cube adds a real stake
The doubling cube gives the match an extra decision before the position gets away from you. If the lead looks strong, you can raise the stakes; if the board turns messy, accepting or refusing the offer becomes its own tactical call.
That pressure is what keeps the endgame sharp, especially when one hit or one escaped checker changes the result. If you want nearby board-game matches, try Backgammon Classic, Classic Backgammon, Backgammon Deluxe Edition, and Sushi Backgammon.
Built for short turns on any screen
The browser setup keeps the board readable for desktop or mobile, so you can make your moves without installing anything. For more same-room competition, the 2 Player and Backgammon pages fit the same head-to-head style, and Classic and Mobile are natural matches for the format.
Because every roll creates a fresh board state, a single run can hinge on one hit, one safe point, or one bold doubling call.
