Backgammon Classic and the race to bear off every checker
Backgammon Classic brings the old Card & Board duel to your browser, where each roll of two dice pushes your pieces along the points. You are always balancing forward movement with the risk of getting trapped, and you can face the computer or share one device with a friend.
Dice rolls, points, and the home board
Every turn starts with the dice, then you choose how to split the move across the board’s points. The goal is simple in practice: bring all your checkers into your home board and remove them before your opponent does, with no download and no signup.
Six-checker walls that change the board
The sharpest moments come when you stack six pieces into a block, because that wall can stop an enemy checker cold. That extra pressure makes a close match feel different from a plain race, especially when a single forced detour changes the whole pace.
Design, difficulty, and round setup
Before the first roll, you can pick a design, choose a difficulty level, and set the number of rounds. If you want a similar point-to-point contest, Backgammon, Classic Backgammon, and Backgammon Deluxe Edition all keep the focus on blocking and bearing off, while 2 Player matches suit local play and the Classic tag fits the traditional ruleset.
Because the setup is adjustable, you can shape each match around a longer board battle or a head-to-head race against the computer. It also works well on Mobile, so the same checker strategy carries over on a smaller screen.
