Sushi Backgammon and the 24-point sushi race

Sushi Backgammon blends classic checker racing with a bright Japanese look, and the Card & Board setup keeps every move tied to pip counts, blocks, and the final bear-off. You move 15 sushi checkers across 24 points, so each roll can open a lane or leave a piece exposed to being hit.

Roll two dice, then choose your route

Each turn starts with two dice, and the number on the roll decides how far you can shift a checker. That means you are constantly weighing safe progress against a bolder hit, which is the same core pressure you get in Backgammon Classic.

Stack points to shut down the board

Two or more checkers on one point lock it down, so the board gradually turns into a maze of safe stops and blocked paths. A lone opposing checker can be sent to the bar when you land on it, which makes every open point matter even more.

Three difficulty levels and head-to-head play

The game gives you three difficulty levels, so you can practise the opening race, mid-game blocking, and the bear-off finish against the bot. If you want a direct matchup, the same board works against a friend, and two-player turns keep the dice pressure on every move.

If you enjoy the same race-and-hit rules in other forms, Backgammon and Classic Backgammon follow the same 24-point structure, while Backgammon Duel keeps the head-to-head tension in a browser-friendly format. You can click or tap your moves on desktop, phone, or tablet, so the whole match runs with no download and no signup.
