Backgammon Duel brings the classic board race to your browser in the Card & Board category, so you can start a match on desktop and keep going on phone. You roll two dice, move by the points shown, and try to clear every checker before your opponent does.
Two dice, one turn, and the best route
Each turn starts with a dice roll, then you choose how to split those points across your checkers. A 5 and a 3 can be used on two different pieces or chained on one piece if the board position allows it, while a double gives you four moves of the same value.
That roll-by-roll planning gives the game its edge, especially when you are trying to open lanes and block the other side’s progress. It has the same back-and-forth pressure you see in Classic Backgammon and Backgammon Deluxe Edition.
Move into your home board, then bear off
Your goal is to bring all 15 checkers into your home area and then remove them from the board. The first player to bear off every piece wins, so every move matters once your stack starts to close in on the finish.
If you want more board-race variants after a match, the same core idea continues in Backgammon and Backgammon Classic. Backgammon Duel keeps that classic structure intact, but the online format makes it easy to jump into a game without setup.

On a computer, you left-click the dice, pick a checker, then click a highlighted point to complete the move. On mobile, tap the dice, tap a checker, and tap the destination point, with an undo button available when the rules or settings allow it.
