Tofu Girl — jumping up a growing tofu tower
The game starts at the table. A girl stands on a block of tofu, and chopsticks on both sides serve up the next piece. One click — jump. All you have to do is get to the top before the tofu rolls in and knocks her off.
There’s no room for mistakes. One touch is enough to send the girl tumbling down, and the run starts from the very beginning. The pieces are served in a steady rhythm, but sometimes they speed up or slow down, and it’s usually the change in tempo that trips you up. That same feeling of one right moment shows up in Cat Mario, where one wrong move can also cost you the whole attempt.
Why landing in the center matters
You can land on the piece from the edge too — the jump still counts, and the tower keeps growing. But landing right in the center counts as perfect and earns you more points and coins. The game doesn’t punish sloppy timing right away, it just pays more for precision. Coins build up slowly and can be spent in the shop on new outfits for the heroine; it takes a while, much like progress in Monkey Mart, where results also come from small repeated actions.
The higher the tower gets, the shorter the gaps between pieces. A round usually doesn’t last long and ends with one slight mistake — so it works best in short bursts, not one long session.
