War Groups — faction war for the Zone
You lead one of the factions and capture the Zone sector by sector. You don’t need to shoot yourself: you pick fighters and send them to a point on the tactical map, and the battle runs automatically. Your job is to decide where to go and with what squad. The Zone is split into more than 15 sectors, and besides enemy squads there are mutants and anomalies.
The core of the game is a mission campaign, and each mission has its own objective. There’s also a survival mode, where waves of enemies keep coming forever. If defending is what you enjoy most, Hero Defense King is built around defense.
Artifacts, trading, and alliances
At the start, you choose a side: stalkers, bandits, military, cultists, and others — more than ten factions in total. The Army gets stronger thanks to the artifacts you collect. Gear can be traded. You can form an alliance with neighbors and go to war with rivals. New fighters are hired with in-game currency, or you can wait for the timer to run out.
