Cut the Rope rope-cutting puzzles with star-chasing physics
In Cut the Rope, you slice through hanging ropes so candy can swing, fall, and land in Om Nom’s mouth. The boxy levels lean on gravity, timing, and the three-star target, so every cut changes the candy’s path in a no download and no signup browser puzzle from Puzzle.
Timing each cut to guide the candy
The key move is simple but picky: break the right rope at the right moment, then watch the candy arc into place. In some stages you wait for the swing to peak, while in others you use the drop to line up a star before the treat reaches the monster.
Stars, traps, and bonus mechanics
Each board gives you a main goal and three stars to collect, so you often need a cleaner route than the obvious one. Later layouts add hazards like thorns, moving parts, soap bubbles, and teleporting hats, which is where the challenge starts to branch out.
If you want more rope-and-physics stages, Cut the Rope Time Travel and Cut the Rope 2 lean into the same star-chasing structure, while Cut The Rope Magic and Om Nom Tower 3D keep the series’ playful style. The One Button feel also fits, since on PC you drag across a rope to cut it and tap active objects when needed.
Mouse drags and touch swipes
On desktop, you draw through the rope with the left mouse button, then click on buttons or objects that trigger extra actions. On phones and tablets, the same moves work with swipes and taps, so you can clear stages on touch screens without changing how you think through each cut.
