2048 Merge Runner — a runner where one mistake cuts your number in half
One wrong tap costs you half your score. A number hangs above the runner’s head. If you touch a runner with the same number, you merge and the number doubles. A runner with a different number turns gray and gets knocked off the track, and your number is cut in half. That’s why you need to pick your lane in advance, like in Man Runner 2048, and keep an eye on the numbers ahead.
Gates, walls, and a boss at the finish line
x2 and x4 gates multiply your number, while division gates are best avoided. You can break through a numbered wall only if your value is higher. A springboard launches you onto the upper road with crystals. There are 8 types of obstacles in total: saws, hammers, narrow bridges, spikes, forks, and more. With each level, they combine into new setups.
At the finish line, a giant boss is waiting, and every number you’ve built turns into damage. Damage carries over between attempts, so even a failed run brings you closer to victory. The merge logic is the same as in classic 2048, only while you’re on the move. Spend crystals to upgrade your boss damage and starting number, and buy one of 19 hats. A similar run-and-merge setup appears in Number Master Run and Merge 2.
