Steel Front — a WWII shooter with vehicle switching
You start the fight as an infantry soldier: you run, shoot in first person, reload, and switch weapons between three slots. What sets it apart from a regular war shooter comes down to one key — E. Press it to hop into any vehicle on the map and jump back out. In a tank, the mouse aims the turret, not your head. In the plane, the same WASD keys control roll and pitch, while Q and E act as rudder controls. A similar role swap shows up in Warfare 1942, only that battle takes place in two dimensions.
Besides vehicles, the map also has artillery: mortars shell ground targets, and anti-air guns take down aircraft. The game also works on phones — the left side has a virtual joystick, and you aim by swiping on the right half of the screen.
