Hearts and the penalty-point table in Card & Board

Hearts puts you at a four-player table against three computer opponents, and the aim is to keep your score low by dumping troublesome cards before they turn into points. The browser setup keeps it simple, with no download and no signup needed, while the trick order makes every hand feel like a small gamble.

Tricks, wins, and careful discards

Each round asks you to judge when to take a trick and when to let it go. If you win the wrong one, you can pick up penalty points that push your total in the wrong direction, so holding onto safe cards matters just as much as chasing control.

That push-and-pull is what makes Hearts stand out from a standard card match. You are not building the biggest pile; you are trimming risk and trying to end the hand with less damage than the other players.

Race to stay under 100

The score carries across rounds, and the match ends when someone reaches 100 points. The player with the lowest total wins, so a single heavy trick can matter long after the hand is over.

That running total gives every discard a purpose. Even when a round looks quiet, one bad capture can change the race and force you to play the next hand more cautiously.

Browser play on desktop and mobile

Hearts works as a card game that plays on mobile and desktop, so you can pick it up wherever you have a screen. If you want to keep the same table tension without leaving the browser, the mobile-friendly setup makes that easy.

Because the focus stays on trick-taking and point control, you can read the table quickly and react to each lead without extra setup. For another deal in the same card corner, Solitaire Garden keeps you at the table between matches.
