Arcade Lines Online and the five-ball chain on an ever-filling board
Arcade Lines Online sends you after a classic Arcade puzzle rhythm: pick a ball, send it along an open route, and line up matching colors before the grid clogs up. When you complete a row, column, or diagonal of five or more, those pieces vanish and new ones appear, so every move changes the board.
Route planning around open corridors
The key is choosing a ball and checking that there is a clear path to the target square, because pieces only travel through empty spaces. That makes every turn a small planning problem, and it shares that lane-finding feel with Lines 98 while staying focused on color-matching lines.
Combos, space, and score pressure
Clearing a line does more than score points, since it also opens room for your next setup and can lead into another line right away. If you like this sort of board management, Sorting Balls has a related “make room before the field locks up” idea, though here the goal is to chain matching balls instead of sorting containers.
Modes that change the board shape
The game also adds progression with new modes that change board size and the number of colors, which keeps the route choices shifting as you improve. That progression fits the same pattern you see in Color Blocks, where the puzzle tension comes from fitting pieces into limited space and watching the layout tighten over time.
It works well in short bursts, but the score chase makes it easy to keep planning another run. On YaYoYe, you can play in your browser with no download and no signup.
