Tropical Merge — clear the island and build a farm
Your goal is to restore a deserted island to its former glory. You combine three matching items, and they turn into one item at the next level up. This merging unlocks tools, plants, and buildings. You clear away overgrowth and junk using energy. The game runs in your browser on PC, smartphone, and tablet.
An island hidden under the overgrowth
You start with a small patch of land. Clearing it reveals new tiles, and there are resources hidden under the bushes. Each task asks for a specific item, and to make it you build a merge chain from the very lowest level. Finish a task to earn crowns and coins. Crowns unlock new parts of the island.
As you go, the island turns into a farm: you grow fruit, raise animals, and build houses. A similar merge chain works in The Mergest Kingdom.
Energy and pacing
Clearing costs energy. When you run out, wait or watch an ad. That’s why the game works best in short sessions, not one long one. Merging a big batch at once gives you more items back than several separate sets of three. The laid-back pace here is just like in Fairyland Merge Magic.
