Tilt Merge — a number puzzle with a tilted board
What sets Tilt Merge apart from other number block games is the tilt. Swipe left or right, and every row slides toward the wall. That brings blocks together that were far apart before.
The basics are familiar. You drop a numbered block into one of five columns. Two matching blocks next to each other merge into one, and the number doubles. Merges can chain, and the dropping mechanic is similar to 2048 Drop. If a block lands on top of two or three matching ones, it clears them all and gives you more points.
Each tilt costs energy
You only get a limited number of tilt charges, and they refill when you merge blocks. So every tilt needs to be thought through. The SMASH button removes any one block from the board. There’s no timer. You can play endless mode for a high score or take on the daily challenge: it gives you 60 drops, and everyone gets the same blocks.
