Spooky Block Blast — a Halloween survival puzzle
You drag shapes from the tray at the bottom onto empty squares on the board. The shapes are made up of several blocks and styled for Halloween. As soon as a horizontal or vertical row is filled from one edge of the board to the other, it disappears completely and frees up space.
Why you can't set aside an awkward shape
There are always three shapes waiting at the bottom. A new set only appears after all three have been placed on the board. You can't put one aside or swap it out, so you have to find room for a big piece right away. The board usually gets clogged not gradually, but because of one rushed move. A similar take on colorful blocks is in Color Block Pairs.
How the game ends
There are no levels, story, or objectives here. The run keeps going as long as at least one of the three available shapes still fits on the board. When none of them fit, the game stops and your score is locked in. The goal is to last longer than last time and climb higher in the leaderboard.
The main challenge here is spatial thinking: you need to keep the shape of each piece and the empty squares in your head at the same time. Color Cube Puzzle is built around the same mix of shapes and color.
