Screwloose Cats: Tail Rescue — Bolt-Pin Cage Puzzle
The dogs have trapped the cats in carriers and sealed them in with boards, metal plates, and bolts. You pull the bolts out one by one and move them to the work tray. When a board has no fasteners left, it falls away and the cage slowly comes apart. The same idea works in Goose Rescue: Screw Sort, only there you’re freeing a goose instead of a cat.
Why the tray changes everything
The tray has only a few slots, and that’s the game’s main limit. Bolts of the same color disappear when they end up in adjacent slots. If you fill every slot and no pair matches up, the run is over. That’s why you can’t just keep unscrewing bolts at random: first check which ones are actually available, and which color is already sitting in the tray. When the cage is completely jammed, you can unlock extra slots by watching an ad.
What’s next
Successful runs earn points. There’s also an endless bonus level: the roles flip, and the dogs’ security chief gets sent to the boards instead. If you want a pure puzzle with no animal story, Wood Nuts Master: Screw Puzzle is the closest match, with the same wooden structure teardown.
