Plants vs Undead and the garden line you have to hold

Plants vs Undead brings tower defense pressure to strategy and management, with a dark garden setting that turns every lane into a small battle plan. You start by building up energy, then place attackers and support plants so the house stays protected when the dead push forward, and it runs in the browser with no download.

Build the economy before the front line

The strongest runs begin with resource plants in the back rows, because they keep your energy flowing while the fight grows harder. After that, you can stack combat plants in front and shape a defense that can absorb both slow, durable enemies and faster threats.

Unlock plants that change the way you defend

As you clear stages, new magical plants appear with different attack types, including freezing, poison, and explosive spores. That lets you mix slowing effects with area damage, which is a smart way to keep enemies trapped where your strongest plants can hit them. Fans of lane-based defense should also check Plants vs Zombies (Fanmade), Flowers vs Zombies, and Garden Defense - Zombie Siege.

Tap or click to place each card

On PC, you pick a plant card with the left mouse button and drop it onto an open cell; on phones and tablets, the same job is done with simple taps. Collecting dropped energy is just as direct, so you can react fast when a lane starts to collapse. If you want another close mechanical match, Ultimate Plants TD keeps the same plant-versus-undead lane defense idea, while zombie and defense fit the core setup here, all free in your browser.

Progress saves locally, so you can come back later and continue from the same point without signing in, which makes each stage easy to pick up again.
