Block Slide: edge grinders, color zones, and strict movement rules
Block Slide turns each figure into a problem of placement and color matching, all in the Simulation space. You break apart block figures with multi-colored grinders around the edge of the field, then guide the pieces into the right colored area.
Move only where the arrow allows
Some figures carry an arrow, and that changes everything because the piece can only travel in that exact direction. That rule makes each move matter, since you have to line up the shape before it reaches the grinder or the destination area.
Grinders along the border
The edge tools are the real hook here: they slice the blocks into smaller parts instead of simply sliding them around. That gives you a sorting puzzle feel, with each cut creating new paths and new problems as the field fills with mixed pieces.
Match pieces to the right color
Each delivered block has to fit the color zone it lands in, so you are constantly checking shape, direction, and color at once. That makes the game fit neatly with Puzzles and Sorting, while Sort Tiles and Bird Sort Puzzle make good mechanical matches because they also ask you to separate pieces by type or color.
If you want more adjacent ideas, Koutack adds a board-shifting angle, and Car Jam Color keeps the focus on clearing crowded lanes of matching pieces. Block Slide keeps that same planning pressure without leaving your browser.
